(Ecofin Agency) - In Morocco, WB Africa is a group of communication agencies and media space development. It regroups three firms including Crystal Creative, a communication strategy consultancy agency, WB Media, which deals with the purchase media spaces, and Timberwolf Digital which offers an expertise in terms of development and advert creation.
By establishing itself in Africa, WB Africa supports multinationals and firms that, from Morocco, wish to expand across the continent. It seizes opportunities available as long as Morocco can strengthen its economic bonds with Africa, the Southern Saharan region knowingly.
“We intended to create a full service provider to support Morocco-based multinationals and companies that are expanding across the continent,” said WB Africa’s President, Moncef Belkhayat, at a press conference organized by his communication group. The Moroccan business mogul heads H&S Invest Holding which owns a 50% stake in WB Africa, according to L’Economiste. In its portfolio, Belkhayat’s holding counts major firms such as Proter&Gamble, Samsung, Adidas, Ettihad Airways and Delonghi Kenwood. The businessman relies on this portfolio to achieve his goal.
WB Africa will operate through its Moroccan, Algerian and Lybian subsidiaries. The group will cover 25 African countries via an exclusive partnership it developed with Totam Africa, a communication advisor. WB Africa will operate namely in Senegal, Benin, Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire and Madagascar.
Regarding its plans, Moncef Belkhayat said the goal was to reach $100 million by 2019, considering that WB Africa generates $47 million presently. The group handles the communication and media branch within H&S Invest Holding. This branch provides 13% of the holding’s turnover.
