(Ecofin Agency) - A selected choice of personalities are awaited in Libreville to take part, on Friday and Saturday, in the Forum Citoyen (Citizen Forum) organised by the French daily Libération in Gabon.
Among the participants, Dominique de Villepin, ex-French Prime Minister, Tony Elumelu, President of the Elumelu Foundation, Yves Fernand Manfoumbi, General Coordinator of the Emerging Gabon Strategic Planning Bureau or Martin Hirsch, former High Commissioner for Solidarity and Youth.
According to Laurent Joffrin, Editorial Director and Executive Editor of the daily, in the five years since Libération started the Forums by organisation debate days with political and intellectual personalities “the success has been constantly growing with more and more participants”. In France, these forums gather on average 20,000 to 25,000 people over 2 days.
