South Africa: Atnetplanet to open subsidiary and invest in education

(Ecofin Agency) - France-based digital communication agency Atnetplanet will open in May 2016 a subsidiary in South Africa.

In the framework of its arrival in South Africa, Atnetplanet will invest in educational training. This year, it will sponsor the education of 2 South African students enrolled in the new WeThinkCode School in Johannesburg. The training will be carried out in partnership with Ecole 42 founded by Xavier Niel, Vice-President and deputy director of strategy at Iliad, owner of Free, the Internet Service Provider, and Free Mobile, mobile telephony operator. Xavier Niel also co-owns the group that edits the French newspaper, “Le Monde”.

By investing in education, Atnetplanet plans to provide ICT-related skills in market where it will need, undoubtedly, need them. The French agency provides counseling, strategy, Facebook application development, websites, content creation for social networks, Community management, media purchase, web analysis, graphical creation, etc.

Ecofin Agency provides daily coverage of nine key African economic sectors: public management, finance, telecoms, agribusiness, mining, energy, transport, communication, and education.
It also designs and manages specialized media, both online and print, for African institutions and publishers.
