Advertising investments will increase by 3.6% throughout the world in 2018. This trend was revealed by Dentsu Aegis Network, a global group specialized in digital and creative media. According to the group’s experts, the spendings will reach $589.5 billion.
These investments will be boosted by major events such as the Olympics games, FIFA world cup, and even the US general election.
Of course, like in many other cases, Africa has not been mentioned. This can be explained by the weak advertising spends in the region. The continent should, however, attract a lot of ad investments with events like the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
