The Central African Republic has launched a single digital portal for government services, the government said on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025. The platform, named “Gouvernemental Centralisé,” allows users to carry out administrative tasks online, track requests and complaints, view official documents and regulations, and access government information.
Authorities say the portal is meant to reduce visits to public offices, shorten processing times, limit manual paperwork and centralise services through one digital entry point.
The launch forms part of a wider government modernisation programme. Officials plan to expand the platform to health, education and tax services. Future features could include applications for medical certificates, school enrolment and access to tax payment information. Public awareness campaigns are also planned to encourage nationwide adoption.
The project is financed by the World Bank through its Public Sector Governance Programme, which aims to strengthen administrative efficiency, improve public financial management and enhance service delivery. The Ministry of Finance oversaw development of the portal, which was implemented by EY Tunisie Medianet, a firm specialising in digital solutions for public administrations in Africa and the Middle East.
Authorities say the new portal is intended to improve transparency, strengthen governance and bring citizens closer to public institutions. The government is seeking additional funding to advance its digital transformation, an area supported by several development partners.
