Cybastion opened a national office in Guinea during the Transform Africa Summit 2025 in Conakry.
The office will anchor the “Digital Fast Track” programme covering cybersecurity, digital services, infrastructure and tech training.
The company plans to strengthen public-private partnerships to expand its operational footprint across African governments.
US-based Cybastion has opened a national office in Guinea as part of its plan to accelerate its digital-infrastructure strategy across Africa. The company announced the move during the Transform Africa Summit 2025 held from 12 to 14 November in Conakry.
The company has partnered in recent years with Côte d’Ivoire, the Central African Republic and Gabon to support national digital-transformation programmes. Cybastion says it views Guinea as a strategic addition to its continental expansion.
Cybastion says the new office will serve as the operational hub for its “Digital Fast Track” (DFT) programme. The framework aims to speed up the digital transformation of both public institutions and private companies.
The programme covers four pillars: cybersecurity, development of digital services, deployment of digital infrastructure and training in technological skills. Cybastion says the DFT framework will support Guinea’s institutions on data protection and workforce upskilling.
Guinea’s government views the initiative as a tool to build a national digital ecosystem capable of supporting innovation, e-government and stronger cybersecurity capabilities.
Cybastion believes its expanded local presence will allow it to increase its operational impact and address African governments’ needs more efficiently. The company aims to consolidate long-term partnerships as the region’s demand for digital solutions grows.
In an interview with Agence Ecofin in September, Cybastion CEO Thierry Wandji said: “Establishing strong public-private partnerships is essential to achieving a country’s digital ambitions. At Cybastion, we collaborate with African states to build national digital ecosystems where we combine international expertise with local know-how.”
