(Ecofin Agency) - Gabon’s President, Ali Bongo Ondimba, who is presently in Morocco for the COP22, received on November 14, 2016, Hamid Raji, CEO of the Marocaine des Thés and administrator of the T-MAN holding.
The two men discussed the development of Gabon’s agribusiness sector. After their meeting, Mr. Raji said his company, which was founded in 1936, plans to make Gabon the base from which it will expand in Africa. “With an output of more than 20,000 tons of tea, our Sultan brand is quite popular and I was able to show the President our latest product which combines tea and lemongrass, named Un Week-end à Libreville,” the industrial said.
The Moroccan added that this product is made with Gabon’s best lemongrass. “We wish, as I told the head of State, to brew new herbal teas using the country’s natural treasures,” he concluded.
