Friday, 27 January 2017 14:50

In Cote d’Ivoire, a sensitization campaign on the rural land legislation was launched in Mankono, in the North-Eastern part of the country. The news was reported by information agency Agence ivoirienne de presse (AIP).

Funded by the European Union, the campaign is led by the management of the rural land department within the ministry of agriculture and rural development. It is part of a program baptized “rural land tenure project in Mankono” which aims to popularize the Act 98-750 of December 23, 1998, related to rural land in the Béré region.

The programme which began on Thursday January 26, 2017, in the Mankono department, “should be carried out on January 31st and February 1st, 2017, in the departments of Dianra and Kounahiri”, said the press agency.
