Trace creates a distribution unit for its media contents

Trace, the group specialized in the broadcasting of music and afro- urban entertainment programs, announced the launch of its unit dedicated to the distribution of media contents. Named Trace Content Distribution (TCD), this new branch of the group will be led by Betty Sulty-Johnson, an expert in the commercialization of media content in Africa.

“I’m glad to join Trace in order to expand this activity. Content management, from its conception to its monetarization, is an important factor of   value creating for Trace,” she declared.

“TCD is a logical and strategical evolution for the group, whose will is to identify and back afro urban creators and talents. Thanks to the arrival of Betty Sulty-Johnson, we are enriched with a well-known expertise to expand and exploit a catalogue of great value,” Olivier Laouchez said (picture), CEO and co-founder of Trace.

TCD now has in its catalogue 8 TV series, 3 feature- length films, 3 documentaries and 9 music programs saleable by Trace to TV channels, mobile phone operators and video platforms, and other potential clients
