On December 1^st on the sidelines of the ceremony organized at the SOPATEL Silmandé Hotel in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, press companies Ecodafrrik and Financial Afrik signed a partnership agreement. According to the two parties, the convention will mainly help them develop joint editorial projects and share strategic information.

According to Adama Wade, publishing director of Financial Afrik, “the convention will allow his media to support Ecodafrik with its know-how”. An opinion that aligns with that of Ecodafrik’s director, Yves Ismaël Zio, who confirmed that Financial Afrik’s experience will be quite important to achieve his media’s pan-African expansion ambitions.

This type of partnership between two online media focused on major African economic news, is not much of a surprise considering the rude competition characterizing this market.
