From September 25 to 29, 2017, in Windhoek, Namibia, will take place the 5th Africa and Digitization Conference. At the meeting will be present leaders in broadcasting, satellite services, online distribution channels, telecom operators and regulators from all over the world. 

This edition of the event which is themed “Transformational Leadership During a Time of Digital Transition”, will start with a two-day forum during which participants will assess progress made by member states of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) in their migration to digital terrestrial television.

The event will also be the occasion for regulators of the broadcasting industry, and SADC to discuss the harmonization of their internal regulations in order to easily tackle new challenges hampering migration to digital television.
