Grupo Planeta, the Spanish specialist in editing and communication decided to set foot in Morocco. The group which is also involved in media and audiovisual entertainment chose the Cherifian Kingdom as its starting point of its expansion in Africa.

The Moroccan subsidiary of Grupo Planeta will start its activities on September 28 in Rabat and will be headed by Wissal Al Gharbaoui.

According to initial reports, the group will start its activities in Africa in the higher education sector. However, the company which owns shares in many media and editing houses all over the world should start with book editing and entertainment in the coming months, in Morocco.

Grupo Planeta is considered as the leader in the editing and media sector in Latin America and Portuguese-speaking countries.
