To celebrate its 90 year anniversary this year, World’s number three of communication sector initiated a contest through which it is to provide funding to 90 digital projects.
Named Publicis 90, the initiative is opened to students, new startups, project bearers or employees of Publicis Groupe all around the world.
Applicants can submit their projects via the dedicated platform (www.publicis90.com) which is opened until February 28, 2016. Pre-selection will be made by region (Europe-Middle East-Africa, Americas and Asia-Pacific).
Once this is done, Publicis’ employees will vote, anonymously, for the best projects submitted them. Then will come another selection by a regional jury, before final selection which will be made by a global jury.
The world giant will invest from €10,000 to €500,000 in each of the 90 projects selected depending on if they are about to be launched or if they are already. Publicis Groupe will also put its experts in marketing, communication, management and technology at the disposal of the contestants to support their projects. The group’s employees will have the advantage to see their projects followed up via a specific incubation system.
“The idea is to help young entrepreneurs achieve their goals. Not just through investment but also by putting Group resources at their disposal for a year”, said Maurice Lévy, Chairman of Publicis Groupe.
Selected applicants will participate at Viva Technology Paris which is co-organized by Publicis. The event will take place from June 30, to July 2nd this year at the Paris Expo Exhibition Centre. Here, the 90 projects selected will be presented during a ceremony.
