(Ecofin Agency) - “Communication across cultures”. This is the theme of the coming World Public Relations Forum which will take place in Toronto, Canada, from May 29 to May 31, 2016. A session on communication trends in Africa has been planned for the event.
Hosting the session is South African public relations expert and principal consultant with VMA Group Global, Daniel Munslow. VMA Group Global is a global specialist of communication marketing, public relations or investors’ relations.
During the session, Daniel Munslow will share the results of VMA Group’s latest study with communication professionals in South Africa. The study was conducted in partnership with Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa-PRISA) and the African branch of International Associaton of Business Communicators-IABC).
The study which is in its second year covers trends in recruitement in South Africa, training and skills development for communication professionals, salary scales, expansion plans of firms, investment trends and social media usage.
During the forum, the session on Africa will focus on multinationals that keeps investing in Africa, as well as on global actors with a growing need to understand the communication environment in Africa. This is an opportunity for communicators to expand in Africa, understand movements of communication professionals, local market dynamics, etc.
