A forum to promote return of Gabonese Diaspora to homeland

Wednesday, 30 September 2015 18:24

Chanel Eder, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Adego Industrie group, operating in the construction and services sector, yesterday met, the Minister of Equality Opportunities and Gabonese Abroad, Patricia Taye, to discuss the 1st forum of the diaspora to be held in the coming days in Libreville.

Shortly after, the member of government met with her staff during a work session with the objective of remobilising the organisational team and finding solutions in order to achieve the expected results of said forum.

This event has been advertised since the month of October 2014 with the theme "what national policy for Gabonese Diaspora in the strategic framework of Gabon as an emerging country?". The idea of the organisers is to promote the return of national cadres.

It is also a forum for the exchange of experiences and consultation for the Gabonese Diaspora, the government, business leaders, investors and development partners.
