Libya witnessed a fresh attack on an oil pipeline located south of the port of Zueitina.
Maintenance teams are working to repair the damages, Ali al-Hassi, a spokesman for the pipeline's guards said on Monday.
The pipeline which leads from oil field 103 to the export terminal at Zueitina was hit by an explosion.
According to Reuters, though Islamic State militants have been active in the area in recent weeks, the Sunday evening attackers are still unknown.
Islamic State militants have exploited the political chaos and a security vacuum in the country to establish a foothold. In January, they launched numerous attacks, damaging the oil terminals of Es Sider and Ras Lanuf, which is situated between Zueitina and Sirte.
