France's Engie E&P is currently eyeing more investment opportunities in Egypt's oil and gas sector. This was declared by Egypt’s Oil Minister Tarek El-Molla during a meeting with the CEO of France's Engie E&P International, Maria Moræus on Wednesday, to discuss available investment opportunities.
El-Molla added that the Egypt and French partnership in oil and gas fields is constantly growing due to the unique joint ties between the two countries. Both sides during the meeting, discussed Engie's chances of increasing its investments in oil and gas exploration fields in the country.
The Minister, went over key areas of Egypt's economic reform programme as well as the important projects which are being currently executed to fast-track the development of large gas finds in the Mediterranean Sea. For her part, Engie’s CEO noted that the company’s willingness on increasing its business in oil and gas exploration fields in a number of its concessions areas in Egypt was discussed.
She added that Egypt's achievement in making large gas finds in the last period inspires Engie to add more investments into the Egyptian market, Amwalalghad news reports.
