Mozambique’s national oil and gas company, ENH, has entered into an agreement with China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), to reinforce cooperation in the area of oil and gas exploration, production, natural gas processing as well as marketing.

Under the agreement, CNPC will contribute actively in Mozambique’s Exploration & Production projects, encourage collaboration in gas field services and develop technicians and managerial talents for Mozambique’s oil industry.CNPC is already a partaker in Mozambique’s Block 4, its first ultra-deep subsea natural gas and LNG project in East Africa.

The company is also engaged in oilfield services and engineering construction projects like geophysical prospecting, pipeline construction, project contracting, and equipment supply in the country, Offshore Energy Today reports.
