Sound Energy on Tuesday announced that the first Tendrara well onshore Morocco has now been spud to the third and final casing point at a measured vertical depth of 2475 metres.This is coming a week after the company announced that it has drilled the well to the second casing point at a measured vertical depth of 1316 metres.
According to Sound, the operation to set and cement the 7" casing in the shale formation, 50 metres above the target TAGI reservoir, is in progress.The company is to now go ahead and drill the reservoir to the final Total Depth, Energy-pedia reports.
Sound Energy started drilling the first well on April 20, 2016 and is estimated to reach a total measured depth of 2,640 meters with the drilling program expected to include coring, logging, completion and testing.
The final results of the well will be announced after drilling and testing operations has been completed, about 2 months and 18 days after the commencement of drilling.
