Rawbank, a major player in the banking sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is proud to be listed among the top 200 African Banking Champions published by Jeune Afrique Magazine in its 300 Champions of Finance edition, published on September 26, 2022.
This notable increase of 22 places compared to 2021 is the result of the various programmes launched by the bank concerning the digitalisation of banking services, SME financing, support for the informal sector and support for female entrepreneurship.
In this year's ranking, Rawbank consolidates its leading position and reaffirms its constant commitment as the first Congolese bank and 3ème bank in Central Africa with a Net Banking Product that has increased by 37% and a 45% variation of the balance sheet in 2021.
"We are delighted to have moved up 22 places among the 300 champions of finance. This is the result of the work of all our teams, the trust placed in us by our partners and the demands we place on ourselves every day to meet the challenges of tomorrow. We will continue to progress and surpass ourselves every day," said Mustafa Rawji, Managin director of Rawbank.
Rawbank is grateful for the trust shown by the bank's partners and customers who enable Rawbank to honour its commitments and exceed their expectations, anticipating difficulties and innovating in difficult contexts.
