AGL Mali carried out a large-scale logistics operation for the LAFIGUE mine in Côte d'Ivoire in August. The company coordinated an exceptional convoy of 61 trucks, transporting more than a dozen machines over a distance of more than 760 kilometers.
The departure point for this significant expedition was SANANKOROBA, in Mali, where AGL Mali's teams took charge of the convoy for its journey to the LAFIGUE mine, located in the centre-north of Côte d'Ivoire. To ensure the safety and protection of the convoy throughout the trip, local teams in Côte d'Ivoire escorted the vehicles from the border to their final destination.
The operation, which required the availability of more than a hundred employees, was completed in just seven (7) days, to the great satisfaction of the customer.
The success of this shipment was made possible by the strong mobilization of the operational teams and real-time communication between all the players in the supply chain, all in strict compliance with quality, safety, security, and environmental (QHSE) standards and requirements.
Rémi Ayikoué Amavi, Managing Director of AGL Mali, expressed his enthusiasm : "This achievement once again testifies to the technical expertise of our company, which continues to position itself as the benchmark logistics partner in Africa."
AGL Mali continues to push the boundaries of logistics in Africa, showcasing its expertise, commitment to operational excellence, and ability to meet the most demanding challenges. Through projects of this magnitude, AGL reinforces its leading role in the continent's logistics industry, supported by its continental teams. As a reminder, AGL Mali is an integral part of the company's Atlantic Africa Region, which includes, in addition to Mali, Mauritania, Gambia, and Senegal, where the company's regional headquarters are located.
