AGL Mali carried out a large-scale logistics operation for the LAFIGUE mine in Côte d'Ivoire in August. The company coordinated an exceptional convoy of 61 trucks, transporting more than a dozen machines over a distance of more than 760 kilometers.
The departure point for this significant expedition was SANANKOROBA, in Mali, where AGL Mali's teams took charge of the convoy for its journey to the LAFIGUE mine, located in the centre-north of Côte d'Ivoire. To ensure the safety and protection of the convoy throughout the trip, local teams in Côte d'Ivoire escorted the vehicles from the border to their final destination.
The operation, which required the availability of more than a hundred employees, was completed in just seven (7) days, to the great satisfaction of the customer.
The success of this shipment was made possible by the strong mobilization of the operational teams and real-time communication between all the players in the supply chain, all in strict compliance with quality, safety, security, and environmental (QHSE) standards and requirements.
