The Brazil Africa Forum 2021 is co-organised, for the second year running, by the Brazil Africa Institute and SouthBridge whose leaders are confirmed speakers in diverse panels. BAF will be held virtually on November 23rd and 24th with the theme “Natural Resources: Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development”.
Led by co-founders and Managing Partners, Dr Donald Kaberuka, Mr Lionel Zinsou, Southbridge’s participation includes the Group CEO Mr Andrew Alli and Senior Partner and CEO of SouthBridge Investments, Dr Frannie Leautier.
Hosted by the Brazil Africa Institute, BAF is considered the most relevant space for debate between Brazilian and African leaders, fostering dialogue with actors from the two regions. BAF maintains the virtual format following a successful 2020 virtual event when we remotely brought together more than 60 speakers, reaching an audience of more than 1,200 registered participants.
SouthBridge is a pan-African financial advisory services provider to public and private clients across the African continent. As entrepreneurial bankers, the firm brings a strong track record in fund structuring, debt advisory and restructuring, as well as project finance. The Group also engages in investments and asset management through SouthBridge Investments.
The event will tackle the natural resources agenda, discussing governance, new technologies, the changing role of hydrocarbons, renewable energy, emerging economies, commodity cycles, blue economy opportunities, ESG and impact investing among other themes.
