Mali: Robex Resources is targeting grinding capacity of 1,200 t/day in October at Nampala

Wednesday, 16 September 2015 04:47

Robex Resources Inc., company listed in Frankfurt and Toronto, announced on 11 September the progression to full speed of the expansion works on its Nampala mine in Mali, specifying that it is looking at making operational at the latest by 20th October the two complimentary carbon-in-leach tanks for this project.

This will allow the company to increase the mine production, it added, to reach the target of 1,200 tons per day with the use of a small grinder of a capacity of 600 tons per day (t/day) which has been temporarily installed. The deployment of a big permanent grinder, as part of a process aiming for a production of 4,000 tons day, will come in December.

The junior Canadian mining company reports that the construction of the Nampala diesel plant for the factory has been completed and that the company is therefore working at starting the electric plant which should provide 7,500 KVA.

Nampala is a project of 17.4 mt of proven reserves and is located in an operating permit covering 5.32 km2 in the Sikasso region.
