This week, GoviEx Uranium announced that it appointed SRK Consulting and SGS Bateman for feasibility studies of Madouela uranium mine in Niger.
The two consulting firms, much experienced in the uranium sector and in Africa, were part of the team that conducted the pre-feasibility studies for the environmental permit at Madaouela.
“We are excited to commence this next stage in the development of the Madaouela Project. GoviEx has steadily and actively focused on value accretion for our projects while staying in tune with the state of the market”, Govind Friedland GoviEx’s CEO said.
Madaouela project hosts mineral resources estimated at 110.76 million pounds of U3O8 in the Measured and Indicated categories.
According to the pre-feasibility study, it could produce 2.69 million pounds of U3O8 for a 21-year lifetime.
