The Lafigué mine in Côte d’Ivoire produced 38,000 ounces of gold in the third quarter of 2025, down from 49,000 ounces in the second quarter. Endeavour Mining attributed the decline to lower mill throughput and reduced processed grades. The company is maintaining its full-year production guidance of at least 180,000 ounces of gold (about 5.6 tonnes), according to a financial report published on Thursday, Nov. 13.
Lafigué, which began operations in July 2024, is completing its first full year of production in 2025. Endeavour expects to reach the lower end of its annual forecast of 180,000 to 210,000 ounces. With 134,509 ounces produced from January to September, the company is counting on improved ore grades in the fourth quarter to meet its target.
“Average grades processed and recovery rates are expected to remain broadly in line with Q3-2025, while throughput is expected to decrease slightly due to reduced mill availability in line with planned CIL maintenance,” the company said regarding its plans for the final quarter.
Endeavour will need to wait for year-end results to determine whether Lafigué met its production objective. The mine is 80 percent owned by Endeavour and 20 percent owned by Côte d’Ivoire. Lafigué is Endeavour’s second Ivorian mine after Ity and its fifth in West Africa, along with Houndé and Mana in Burkina Faso and Sabodala-Massawa in Senegal.
