Rwanda’s National Police (RNP) and Indonesia’s police signed a memorandum of understanding on October 6, 2025, state media reported. The agreement establishes formal cooperation between the two countries’ law enforcement institutions.

The accord sets a framework for collaboration against transnational organized crime. It also provides for the sharing of information and expertise, joint training, and other capacity-building programs.

Officials said the partnership will enhance the operational capabilities of both forces. They emphasized that the agreement aims to consolidate the means of action for tackling emerging security challenges.
