Green Energy gives a third life to black gold

(Ecofin Agency) - After its processing in plastic bags, oil waste will soon get a new life cycle as …fuels, the news website Ecce Africa reveals. Green Energy, a green company, developed a chemical formula to transform the waste in petrol, diesel and Kerosene. Clean and ready for use, these fuels will be stocked then sold.

The founder of Green Energy, Choji Bare, is a Nigerian scientist who worked for many years on the production of fuel from recyclable waste. He sets up in Nigeria, a country where insalubrity is patent and plastic bags ever-present.

His company wishes to produces 90,000 litres of fuel per day and promises investors, a return of 80% on their investments. A projection by the founder of this company estimates at 1 million litres of petrol the quantity which can produced from plastic waste used every day in the towns of Lagos and Abuja only.
