(Ecofin Agency) - Panoro Energy ASA, oil E&P company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange market, just completed well operations at the Aje field in the OML 113 licence offshore Nigeria where it plans to start production in January 2016.
The London-based company, operating in Nigeria and Gabon, announced on 16 November, it has turned the Aje-4 well into an oil production well.
“We are very pleased to have now successfully concluded the well operations phase of the Aje Cenomanian oil development and are encouraged with the reported well results. We have achieved a major milestone to de-risk the project and are looking forward to starting commercial production towards the end of January 2016,”John Hamilton, Panoro’s CEO, affirmed.
Aje-4 and Aje-5 in another production well drilled at a total depth of 3,255 m, perforated oil deposits in Cenomanian zones and are now ready to be connected to production facilities, says Panoro, the operator of the OML 113 licence covering a 835 km2 field offshore.
