ECOMOF 2018: Only 6 Weeks to go for West Africa’s Leading Oil & Gas Conference

(AME Trade) - Acting on the initiative of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission, the 2nd edition of the ECOWAS Mining & Petroleum Forum & Exhibition, ECOMOF, is taking place from 9-11 October 2018 in Abidjan, Hotel Sofitel Abidjan. The event is organised by the ECOWAS Commission, the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire and AME Trade Ltd.

The ECOWAS Commission is seeking to develop an economic cooperation between its member states to attract further investments through the standardisation of their infrastructure, policies and regulations. Hence, the Commission has initiated the 2nd edition of ECOMOF with the theme “Strategies to Promote the Development of West Africa’s Mining and Petroleum Industries.”

ECOMOF 2018 is the ideal platform to share ideas and create relationships with key oil & gas stakeholders in West Africa. The conference will emphasise on the West African infrastructure, local content policies, petroleum codes and hydrocarbon current and future potentials in the region. The even comprises of an insightful 2 day conference and tradeshow focussing on high-level networking which will accentuated by the new features: one to one meetings, roundtables discussions and Q&A panels.

H.E Alassane Dramane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire and H.E Jean- Claude Kassi Brou, President of the ECOWAS Commission will address at the opening ceremony.
