Cameroon: Bowleven begins lengthy well test program at Moambe well

Thursday, 12 November 2015 19:26

Bowleven Plc has declared that following installation of testing equipment, the Moambe well in the Bomono Permit in onshore Cameroon has begun flowing hydrocarbons.

The prolonged well testing program at Moambe is aimed at determining the productiveness and connectivity of the shallower reservoir units. The reservoir unit is expected to provide the source for the initial supply of gas. The gas is to be used to generate power under a development scheme formulated with Actis LLP, a private equity firm and its subsidiary Eneo SA, in Cameroon.

According to the company, further update on the program will be announced in due course, Energy-pedia reports.
