DeepOcean Ghana Ltd has acquired a contract extension for the Rem Forza subsea construction vessel to work on the TEN project, in Ghana.

The vessel is to offer accommodation support, commissioning support, as well as construction and survey support.

Rem Forza is 107.6 meters long and has an accommodation capacity of 120 personnel on board. It had initially worked on Tullow’s Ghana assets for a six month period which began in February 2015, providing inspection, survey and subsea construction services on the deepwater Jubilee and TEN Fields offshore Ghana.

According to Subsea World News, the vessel was constructed in 2008 and joined DeepOcean’s fleet in 2012. The company later sold the vessel to Maersk Supply Service.
