Serinus Energy temporarily shut-in CS-3 well in Tunisia

(Ecofin Agency) - Serinus Energy Inc. has announced that the CS-3 well on the Chouesh Es Saida Concession in Tunisia has been temporarily shut in due to failure of the electrical submersible pump (ESP).

According to the company, in spite of efforts by the technical team in Tunisian to fix the damages, it has been determined that a replacement ESP will be needed in order to bring the well back online. The average per day production for Q4 from the well has been 260 barrels of oil equivalent per day, with the total Company average daily production for the same quarter to date being 1,159 Boe/d, Your Oil and Gas news reports.

Serinus in currently in the process of securing a replacement ESP for the well and will provide an update once a final timetable for the recommencement of production from the CS-3 well has been determined.
