The Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company has commenced regular production of 3.2 million litres of petrol, Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, NNPC revealed on Wednesday.
Ohi Alegbe in a statement, said that the company’s plant commenced production with an initial petrol output of approximately 1.5 million litres, thereby boosting its daily output to 3.2 million litres.
“The injection of this volume into the system will significantly impact ongoing special intervention efforts designed to bring relief to motorists across the country”, the statement stated.
It added that the order to dispatch NNPC staff in the observation of fuel distribution and retail system at filling stations across the country in not more than two days, has begun producing positive results in Abuja and its environs, Leadership News reports.
