(Ecofin Agency) - Actemium has been granted a multi-million dollar topside maintenance contract by BP for the latter’s two Floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels in Angola.
Under the five-year contract, the company will provide the key topsides maintenance for the Greater Plutonio (Block 18) and PSVM (Block 31).Actemium will also provide onshore and offshore maintenance support services to the two assets, with the possibility for an additional ad-hoc services to support the operations. The work will be implemented via Actemium’s Angolan offices and the Paris maintenance center of expertise.
This project is the first for Actemium with BP in Africa.“Actemium is already a strong player in Africa, especially in Angola, where we have been present for nearly 16 years. However, our new agreement with BP represents an important milestone for Actemium in Africa.
