Envol Immobilier, the Senegalese company has won the contract for the construction of San Pedro university in Côte d’Ivoire.
With an estimated cost of CFA95 billion (about $167 million), the university "will host 20,000 students in fields like naval construction, agriculture, and tourism”. According to Albert Toikeusse Mabri, Côte d’Ivoire’s minister of higher education and scientific research, San Pedro university will open its doors in October 2020.
Established three years ago, Envol Immobilier has won many contracts apart from this one. There is, for instance, the ministerial building built at Diamniadio (Senegal) which was inaugurated on May 2, 2018 (after sixteen months of works and about $98 million investment). There are some also important projects like the ministerial building and Kara university in Togo.
