Côte d’Ivoire : MSC pioneer in combating erosion in Ivory Coast

According to the recent World Bank studies, coastal erosion and the pauperization of halieutic resources in lagoons have become a national emergency in many countries on the West African areas.
MSC IVORY COAST as one of the sponsors of the 4th edition of the ELE FESTIVAL (socio-cultural festival) organized a "planting" of trees on June 9, 2019 to show the importance of mangrove preserving.
This ecosystem helps to combating erosion and serves as precious cradle of life for marine and coastal species.
Since several years MSC has engaged in the promotion of the sustainable business model, wildlife protection and marine ecosystem.
