Last February 20, the polytechnic school of Abomey-Calavi (EPAC), the electric community of Benin (CEB) and University of Lomé signed a framework cooperation agreement. The institutions were represented by Prof. Dodzi Kokoroko, the president of the University of Lomé, Mohammed Soumanou, EPAC’s director, and Karimou Chabi Sika, CEB’s managing director.
According to Togo First, the main objective of this legal instrument is to create a dynamic framework for students in electrical engineering, especially production, transport, and distribution.
Specifically, this partnership framework aims to provide students (from both universities) with practical training and internships with CEB’s institutional support.
In return, those universities will set up modular or training “à la carte” for CEB’s staff. They will also organize the supervisory or co-supervisory directorates of degree dissertations and doctorate thesis for their students.
