Madagascar’s land observatory’s director, Laza Raharo Andriamanjato, announced on the sidelines of celebration of the 10th anniversary of the institution that new land offices will be built so that each municipality of the Island has one by 2030. This was reported by L’Express de Madagascar.
“There are actually 524 operational land offices in Madagascar. 95% of them are backed financially while 5% are self-funded. We want to have at least an office in each of the 1,600 municipalities we have, by 2030,” the official said.
The land observatory is attached to the general secretariat of the ministry in charge of presidential projects, land development and equipment.
