The Egyptian minister of communications and information technology Amr Talaat met his Saudi peer Abdullah bin Amer Alswaha during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 held in Barcelona. During their meetings, they discussed the strengthening of the two countries’ partnerships in terms of IT, e-government and digital transformation.
They agreed to set a team to monitor the implementation of the common projects in all the sectors covered by their partnerships, notably, in the artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, blockchain and entrepreneurship in digital game sectors were both parties have common interests.
During the MWC 2019, Amr Talaat also discussed with his Ivorian peer Claude Isaac DE about a future IT cooperation. Both parties assessed the partnerships and possibilities of exchange of expertise for a digital society.
