BringCom Incorporated, a leading connectivity solution provider in Africa, announces the signing of a new partnership and interconnection agreement with Ethio Telecom, the Ethiopian incumbent operator.
Through this collaboration, BringCom will be able to complement and enhance its existing pan-African MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) network to provide high-quality telecom services to its government and business customers in Ethiopia.
According to Fabrice Langreney, BringCom's CEO, “this new service is the latest addition to our African network and allows us to transmit our customers' international traffic from Ethiopia via Djibouti to anywhere in the world.”
BringCom says that strengthening its MPLS network, through the partnership with Ethiop Telecom, is part of its growth strategy in East Africa. The company explains that this collaboration will increase the number of its connectivity routes and strengthen its ability to provide innovative services such as SD-WAN and Edge Cloud services.
BringCom says its enterprise SD-WAN services will reduce costs, increase business agility, and improve the performance of multi-cloud applications. Regarding its Edge Cloud services platform, the company reveals that it already supports Digital Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) for virtual data centers and virtual machine requirements in East Africa.
