Luc Missidimbazi, telecoms and digital services adviser to the Congolese Prime Minister Clément Mouamba, has been leading a digital prospecting mission in France since 18 June 2019. The mission is to consolidate the Congo-France Digital Club, a club for business convergence and opportunities between Congolese and French digital companies, created on 15 April in Brazzaville, on the sidelines of the Osiane business forum.

The Congolese delegation is composed of about twenty companies, an incubator, and representatives of the digital communications regulatory agency as well as employers of the Chamber of Commerce. During the stay that ends on 21 June, parties will discuss ways to boost corporate financing and structuring with the Banque de France. In that regard, talks will also be engaged with various partners and trade unions of digital companies.

According to Luc Missidimbazi, “this mission is part of the club’s desire to promote and strengthen economic links between members, to create and promote a network of exchanges in the digital sector between Congo and France.
