Brussels satellite service provider SatADSL signed a partnership agreement with broadband satellite services provider YahClick, owned by UAE-based Yahsat, to improve connectivity across sub-Saharan Africa.
SatADSL will combine the capacity acquired from YahClick and its cloud-based service delivery platform (C-SDP) to deliver a full range of flexible satellite services across the region. “Our ability to offer high throughput Ka-band services will significantly impact the fate of some of the most underserved countries in the world, helping them to cross the digital divide and make the most of their considerable potential,” said Michel Dothey, chief commercial officer at SatADSL.
This collaboration grants YahClick full access to SatADSL’s licensed partner network covering 45 countries around the world with more than 3,500 deployments, allowing the company to expand its distribution.
For Farhad Khan, chief executive officer at YahClick, “working closely with SatADSL enhances the quality of our service delivery as we continue on our mission to unleash human potential through satellite broadband connectivity.”
