Rosneft has signed an agreement with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGCP) for the supply of petroleum products.
The document which represents the extension of the agreement reached by the two companies in July of this year foresees the delivery of 6 combined cargoes of Fuel Oil and Light Circle Oil (LCO) by Rosneft to the Egyptian company between November and December 2015.
The terms of the agreement allow Rosneft to increase the cooperation it has with Egypt and EGPC and also reinforce its position as a supplier of petroleum products in Northern Africa. In addition, its partnership with EGPC is to increase the company’s regional and global trading potential.
As a matter of fact, the partners are set to increase the level of cooperation as regards the supply of petroleum products and are to continue negotiations on the development of both the capacity of supply and products portfolio, Oil and gas press reports.
