(Ecofin Agency) - Ten Moroccan broadcasting companies have opened an office in the United Arab Emirates to be represented there. The firms are specialized in designing, production and directing of TV programs, movies and institutional content products, advertising, Corporate movies and Digital Media also.
Morocco’s audiovisual sector was well represented in the B to B mission organized in the UAE from November 19 to November 24, 2016, by the Moroccan export center (Maroc Export). In a statement, the centre said Moroccan broadcasting firms prospect TV channels for institutional documentaries, TV productions, movies and series for the Emirati media industry. The Moroccan group also seeks partners to co-produce Arab series and movies.
Maroc Export said the broadcasting and ICT sectors are presently booming in the United Arab Emirates. The country aims to become the leading media hub in the North Africa & Middle East (MENA) region. Morocco intends to tap into UAE’s media free zones to foster commercial exchanges and encourage foreign investors.
