It is divided in two stages. The first will see the development of a 150 MW wind station in Taza and the second will see the development of remaining 850 MW. During the second stage, the following stations will be built: Tangiers II (100 MW), Boujdour (100 MW), Toskrad (300 MW), Midelt (150 MW) and Jbel Lahdid (200 MW). Stations that are however to be financedwith KfW’s loan are Tangiers II, Midelt and Jbel Lahdid, l’Economiste reveals.
KfW also awarded ONEE a €20 million loan to finance its national water sanitization programme.
