Qatar Airways and Kenya Airways (KQ) have expanded their strategic partnership with the launch of codeshare flights covering 19 new destinations, available from Sunday, October 26, 2025. The two airlines aim to strengthen their networks and provide greater flexibility for travelers between Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

Kenya Airways customers will be able to book flights from Nairobi to Doha and connect onward to 11 destinations through Hamad International Airport. Similarly, Qatar Airways passengers will gain access to eight new cities within Kenya Airways’ network.

Observers note that this expansion is designed to optimize travel time and reduce costs for passengers by simplifying booking processes, ensuring smoother baggage transfers, and providing more seamless connections.

The agreement covers the following destinations: Bahrain, Colombo (Sri Lanka), Doha (Qatar), Dhaka (Bangladesh), Islamabad and Karachi (Pakistan), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Malé (Maldives), Muscat (Oman), Singapore, and Tokyo Narita (Japan) for Qatar Airways; and Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire), Accra (Ghana), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Lilongwe (Malawi), Livingstone (Zambia), Juba (South Sudan), Nampula (Mozambique), and Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) for Kenya Airways.
