  • New system active Sept 25, 2025–Jan 25, 2026

Morocco has eased its visa policy for eight African nations to accommodate fans attending the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The countries benefiting from the "exceptional" measure are Algeria, Senegal, Niger, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gabon, Togo, and Tunisia.

This new system uses an electronic visa called the  Electronic Authorization to Travel to Morocco (AEVM) to simplify entry procedures and welcome supporters. The new process will be in effect from September 25, 2025, to January 25, 2026.

To apply, individuals wanting to attend the tournament must submit a request through a dedicated app, "YALLA," created by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation for the event. The tournament is scheduled to run from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.

During this period, visa applications for other purposes, such as tourism or official visits, must be submitted at least 96 hours before the planned travel date through a separate portal.
