Ghana approved visa exemption agreements with Antigua and Barbuda, Maldives, and Zambia.
The agreements cover all passport categories, including ordinary and diplomatic passports.
Travelers will stay up to 30 days per trip without a visa, pending parliamentary ratification.
The Ghanaian government approved new visa exemption agreements with Antigua and Barbuda, Maldives, and Zambia, Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said on Wednesday, April 22.
The agreements cover all categories of passports, ranging from ordinary passports to diplomatic passports. As a result, the policy expands travel access across multiple traveler profiles.
Under the agreements, Ghanaian nationals and citizens of the three partner countries will travel without a visa for stays of up to 30 days per trip. Consequently, the measure aims to facilitate mobility and strengthen bilateral relations.
However, Parliament must ratify the agreements in the coming weeks before authorities fully implement them.
Cabinet yesterday approved additional Visa Waiver Agreements for Antigua and Barbuda, the Maldives and Zambia.
