(Ecofin Agency) - Algeria’s EnergyMinister, Salah Khebri, and Benin’s Minister of Oil and Mines, Mensah Spéro (photo), in a meeting on Monday discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the energy sector.

The meeting which was held in Algiers was an opportunity to discuss cooperation between the two countries in terms of supply of hydrocarbons, liquefied natural gas and other oil products to Benin.

At the end of the meeting, The Beninese minister was satisfied with the way the discussion turned out and expressed the hope that the cooperation between Algeria and Benin in the energy sector will be reinforced soon, Algeria Press Service reports.
