(Ecofin Agency) - Afrox has announced that it has secured more multimillion-rand, multiyear supply contracts.
According to the company, it had been granted a R60-million, three-year contract extension to supply bulk liquid nitrogen, compressed and special gases and welding consumables to an oil refinery in South Africa. It also acquired a R40-million, five-year contract extension for the supply of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and industrial gases to a distributor in Pretoria.
Also, a contract to supply bulk nitrogen to Shoprite’s national distribution fleet was also secured, as Afrox is targeting phase in truck-mounted CryoFridge installations to chill containers.
Furthermore, a new five-year contracts worth R65-million were secured with distributors in Pretoria, Rustenburg and Kuruman for the supply of LPG, welding consumables and industrial gases, Engineering news reports.
